1. Agreement
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and UIworm (“UIworm”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. Related documents include our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
2. The Service
UIworm provides design-system guidance, UI component references, and related tooling via a hosted MCP endpoint and web dashboard. Features, plans, call limits, and availability may change over time. We may introduce free and paid tiers, modify plan entitlements, or retire features with reasonable notice when practical.
UIworm is a design director and content service for AI coding agents. It does not replace your responsibility for the code, products, or sites you ship.
3. Accounts and API keys
- You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and API keys. Keep secrets confidential and rotate keys if they may have been exposed.
- You may not share a single paid account or API key in a way that circumvents plan limits, or resell access without our written permission.
- We may suspend or revoke keys or accounts that we reasonably believe are compromised, abusive, or in violation of these Terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
- Attempt to probe, scan, reverse engineer, overload, or disrupt the Service except as allowed by applicable law
- Bypass rate limits, plan quotas, authentication, or other access controls
- Misrepresent the Service’s output as a guarantee of design quality, accessibility compliance, or legal compliance of your product
- Use the Service to build a substantially competing design-system MCP or wholesale redistribution of our proprietary catalogs without permission
5. Plans, billing, and cancellation
Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment provider according to the plan you select. Pricing, currency, and limits are shown at checkout or on the pricing page and may change for future periods.
You may cancel a subscription as described in your account billing settings. Cancellation typically stops renewal; access may continue until the end of the then-current billing period. Fees already paid are governed by our Refund Policy.
6. Intellectual property
UIworm and its licensors own the Service, branding, design-system content, documentation, and underlying software, excluding content you provide. Subject to these Terms and your plan, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service and to incorporate design guidance and component patterns into projects you build for yourself or your clients.
You retain ownership of the applications and sites you create. You grant us a limited license to process account data, usage metadata, and any content you submit to the Service solely to operate and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party services
The Service depends on third parties such as authentication (Clerk), database/backend (Convex), and payments (Dodo Payments), as well as the AI tools you connect on your side (for example Claude Code, Cursor, or Windsurf). Those services are governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policies outside our control.
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that design guidance or review checks will catch every issue in your UI. Outputs are assistive; final design, accessibility, and product decisions remain yours.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UIWORM AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO UIWORM FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (OR, IF GREATER, ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS IF YOU ONLY USED A FREE PLAN).
10. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify UIworm against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your products built using the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires additional consent.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where UIworm principally operates its business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue for disputes, subject to those mandatory rights.
